Hi, I’m Steve, a 49 year old male without a weight problem!!" It was not always the same. This 'before' picture shows me August 2007 weighing in at an uncomfortable 269lbs. Just six months later, I was 65lbs lighter. A year on, I have not only maintained the weight loss but have continued to lose the or two a month and my weight now stands at 189lbs. That’s a further loss of 15lbs.
When I started out on my mission to regain my self esteem I was determined to find a diet plan that would help me achieve my goal but also allow me to still 'Have a Life'!! I had tried many of the FAD diets in the past and only achieved two things: 1. Abject misery during the diet as I craved all my favourite foods and 2. Considerable weight gain within weeks of coming off the plan.
I was determined to find something different and the Lifestyle-Diet Plan was perfect.
Throughout the Lifestyle Plan I continued to eat all the foods I enjoy and was allowed to continue the foods I craved when on other plans. It was perfect. The plan is simple. It educates you on what and when to eat and if you want to eat your favourite foods, you can, so long as you eat them at the correct time. The secret here of course being, if you are allowed to eat your favourite foods, you don’t crave them. Just eat them at the correct time of day!
The information on the metabolism and the effect it has on our weight gain and subsequent loss is fascinating. The nutritional supplements used to boost the metabolism and kick start the diet are exceptional. Finally, I have to mention the 80:20 Rule. What a piece of genius this is!! (even if I do say so myself!) It’s so simple you wonder why it has never been created before. As a result of this single rule I found a lifestyle I can maintain for life. I am living walking proof that the Lifestyle Plan works and continues to work. What about self esteem? Well, I’ve started dating again and enjoy a very active social calendar. Enough said!!
